Here at First Baptist Church Adel, GA we have many exciting church ministries to get plugged in and have chances to serve as well. 

Bible Fellowship - This is our weekly Bible study opportunity. With plenty of top-notch Bible Fellowship teachers, there is a class for everyone to join into from our youngest to our more experienced in life. We would love for everyone to join in one of our Bible Fellowship groups to grow and learn as disciples of Christ.

Music Ministry - There are plenty of opportunities to serve in the Music Ministry in our fantastic choir. This group of wonderful singers help lead us in worship every Sunday morning, including some superb choir specials.  

First Hand Groups - Offered different times of the year, and typically meet Sunday afternoon and Wednesday at lunch, this is a time that we can dive into different subjects such as How to Trust the Bible is True, and what it means to be a disciple of Christ, on a first hand basis and not just take someone's word for it. With smaller groups, this is a chance for some deep study of God's Word in our lives. 

Gospel Kids - This is a fun and exciting place for our younger crowd at church. Between Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, we have lots of fun with different ways to explore the Bible and keep it's truth in their hearts. 

Student Ministry - Our Student Ministry is a designed for 6th-12th grade to disciple followers of Christ to grow in their relationship with Him and guide them to be disciple-makers themselves. Through Bible study, worship, camp, mission trips, retreats, other day trips and opportunities to serve the students will be challenged to grow in their faith and share the gospel with others. With a team of top notch adults that love to serve in the student ministry, Students will discover that there is a place for them in First Student Ministry. 

Ladies Ministry - Our Ladies Ministry is for ladies of all ages and in all stages of life. Throughout the year, we offer opportunities for Bible study groups, book clubs, ladies fellowship meal with a special speaker and music, service projects, as well as fun and creative classes such as pottery making, painting, and making wreaths. Our Ladies Ministry Team is committed to serving the ladies and their friends at FBC Adel. 

Outreach - With a heart to reach our community and the nations, Outreach is one of the heartbeats of our church. We desire to Serve others and Share the life-giving Gospel with everyone we can. With different opportunities here in Cook County such as the Daylily fest and our own food pantry and clothes closet, and with mission trips around the United States and the World, we want to live out the Great Commission in the life of First Baptist Church.

Food Pantry - On the fourth Monday of each month from 9 am to Noon and 1 - 4, we have a chance to serve our community by opening our food pantry. Not only are we called as the church to meet peoples spiritual needs, but just as importantly we want to meet their physically needs with some groceries. 

Clothes Closet - On the first Saturday of each month from 9 to Noon we have the chance to serve our community by having them come into our clothes closet and collect whatever their heart desires, once again meeting their physical needs as well as sharing the gospel.
